Jurgis Skulme (1928-2015) – painter, art scientist.
1954 – The graduating State Art Academy of Latvia, the monumental department (diploma work „The fishing port in Skulte” by guidance of O. Skulme).1970 – The presentation of dissertation „ The market advertising at Latvian applied graphic. Tartu, Estonia. 1971 – The candidate of Art science.1954 – 78 – The member of Artist union of Latvia, restored at 1989.He made the first broadcasts about art the Latvian TV and Radio.

Faluna, Sweden 1997. Aizpute 1998. Artist painted landscapes, flowers and portraits. The works are made at oil technique at the expressive manner.
