Vladimir Andrijenko (1926-1995)

Vladimir Andrieyenko was born on 28 July 1926. Studied at Kharkov Artistic Institute (1946), graduated from Latvian Academy of Arts (1952) under the supervision of professor  Otto Skulme. Exhibited his works from 1952, held a personal exhibition in Riga in 1977. Created multifigure compositions devoted to the  themes of the Great Patriotic War and modern times, worked in the genre of landscape painting and still life.
