The exhibition displays paintings by various Latvian artists from different periods, including such well-known authors as - Nikolajs Breikšs, Aleksandrs Zviedris, Ārijs Skride, Arnolds Pankoks, Laimdots Mūrnieks, etc. The works depict scenes from the life of fishermen, views of harbors and life near the presence of water. These works reflect well the daily life of the active ports of the 20th century. In total, more than 20 paintings can be seen in the exhibition, and in each painting you can look into the vision of each artist on the common and well-known theme in Latvia - the sea, ports and fishing.
The exhibition can be viewed from November 17 to December 17 in the premises of Antonija gallery - Brīvības iela 157-2, Riga.
