Still life by the sea

Livija Endzelina (1927-2008)

She studied at Latvia’s University, architecture faculty 1946 – 1948, graduated Art Academy of Latvia, painting department (1948 – 1953)
-         Took part at exhibitions from 1960;
-         exhibitions in Moscow 1961, 1979, Rostoc 1962, Montreal 1967, Vilnius 1969, 1975, Schetcin 1969, Tartu, Prague 1978, London 1993;
-         Since 1964 member of the Artist’s Union;
-         Mainly in his paintings she depicted flowers, still lifes. At 1966 – 1976 she painted portraits of Latvian culture workers.
