The Peruvian Cusco School (Escuela Cuzquena) is a unique Catholic artistic tradition that flourished in the city of Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire, during the colonial period (16th–18th centuries), combining European religious themes with local Indian motifs, vibrant colors, patterns, and stylistic features, known for its paintings on religious themes, and spread throughout the Andean region.
