renaissance quotes (the aperture and the landscape behind it create associations with Leonardo) intertwine with special, feminine
take on the classic plot (a woman with a child supplemented by another) and unusually tender colouring. The water-colour has
a rather complex(several fi gures and views, double symmetry – axial and diagonal), as well as simultaneously exquisitely detailed
(vases in opposite corners) composition; however, the subtle use of chiaroscuro and pink, light blue and greenish colours creates
an admirably harmonious impression.
