Igor Vasilyevich Panich (1919-1990)

Painter. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
Panich I.V. born 04/30/1919 in the village. Ivanovka, Poltava region.
Participant of the Great Patriotic War. He began his creative activity after the end of the war.
He studied at the Kharkov Art Institute until 1950 with S. Prokhorov, I. Daits, S. Besedin, G. Tomenko.
He worked in the field of easel painting.
Igor Panich took part in All-Ukrainian and All-Union exhibitions, in particular, in the All-Union Exhibition in Moscow in 1951. He has more than 20 exhibitions.
Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine and Honored Artist of Ukraine since 1972.
Winner of the Young Guard Prize.
The artist’s artworks are in many museums, including the Lugansk Art Museum, as well as in private collections in Ukraine and other countries of the world.
