Lucien Neuquelman studied at the Toulon School of Fine Arts. Then in 1930, he joined the academy of the Grande Chaumière in Paris.
He meets the famous artist Othon Friesz who becomes his friend and takes him under his wing.

Thanks to him, and to the innate talent of Lucien Neuquelman, the French artist quickly became known and began to exhibit in many places.

Lucien Neuquelman, a great admirer of Signac, Seurat and Cross, follower of Pointillism, particularly likes to paint and represent landscapes of Brittany, maritime scenes and scenes of Parisian life.

The painter uses warm colors to make his canvas as luminous as possible.

His works are mainly auctioned in the United States.
