Tornakalns

(1907.22.V Revele - 1994.4.X Riga) - painter and teacher. He graduated Riga's 1. gymnasium, studied at Latvia's University in the Faculty of phililogy and theology. Also studied in Latvia Art academy in the painting class (1940-48). took part in exhibitions from 1964. Solo exhibition in Riga (1976), Valka (1978), Jurmala (1984). He was a member of Latvia Artists Union from 1969. He painted in plai-air - impressionistic landscapes in different seasons.
