Arnolds Tigins (also Tiggins)

1880. 18. XI Riga – 1945 Denmark.

He was born at the gardener family. He graduated the real school of Muller and the art school of V. Blums in Riga. Artist also learned at the Study of L. Dmitriev – Kavkazskis at St. Petersburg. He took part at the exhibitions since 1900. Artist was a member of Independent artists.1930 – Exhibitions in Jekabpils, Plavinas and Daugavpils. He painted landscapes and two drawings of A. Tigins are illustrated at the book of K. Skalbe, 1st part (1922).Solo exhibitions:1909 – together with A. Strals, Riga.
