Alfons Mihailovskis (1899. 29. 03. Riga - 1966. 27. 12. Nothingem, England)
He graduated the Art Academy of Latvia, master class of figurative painting by J. R. Tillbergs guidance with diploma work „The family Folca” (1926).
He gone to Berlin and to Paris, where he supplemented his studies (1930).
At the exhibitions he took part since 1922.
In his creative work he mainly painted portraits and in background very often is landscapes and interior objects. Mihailowsky was a very good draftsman and characteristic of the human character.
He emigrated to Germany (1944.), after that gone to England, where he painted the porcelain till 1959.
