Konstantin Semenovic Vysotsky (1864-1938)

Konstantin Visotsky was a Russian painter of animal, forests and hunting scenes.

Artist was born in Moscow, Russia in prosperous, ancient family. He learned in a couple of painting studios, along with music and poetry writing.

He emigrated to Latvia because of Bolshevik dictatorship in 1920, and till his death Visotsky lived in Latvia.

When he lived in Latvia, artist worked as a teacher in gymnasium and Russian secondary school of Riga. K. Visotsky also directed his own painting studio.
