Emma Baltmane (1882.16.III Krustpils – 1969.16.XII Krustpils), painter.

She studied at Jekabpil’s Maria’s school, she showed a good progress at drawing.
1925- 1927 she studied at S. Vinogradova Studio at Riga.

Exhibitions:
Since 1928 Baltmane took part at exhibitions and from 1929 regular at the exhibitions of Independent artists.
Since 1945 she is Member of artist’s union.
Memorial exhibitions: at Jekabpils 1970, 1980.

Baltmane painted marketplaces at Krustpils, landscapes, flowers in style of impressionism.
