Vimba Voldemars – painter.

(1904 31 01 St. Petersburg – 1985 09 Riga, Latvia)

He learned at the St Petersburg’s Central technical drawing school by Stiglits.

1923 – 1933 studding at Latvian Art Academy Figurative master class under guidance by G. Eliass with diploma work “An open –air dance”.

Artist took part at the exhibitions since 1928.

He was very talented battle painter, mainly historian and national sights he depicted at his paintings also folklore theme is in his works ("Sun Battle” etc.).

He worked as a art teacher at Art School and Academy of Art, was a senior teacher at the drawing department.

Artist painted some monumental paintings with A. Zviedris and made stained – glass window with E. Cesnieks and E. Treilons.

Salaspils, Sigulda and Riga at 1984.
