Guntars Sietins
(born 1962)
Guntars Sietins was born on October 23, 1962 in Kuldiga, Latvia. He is Associate Professor of Printmaking at the Latvian Academy of Art and has created a masterly body of work in this difficult technique, exhibits internationally, and is the recipient of a number of awards in international competitions. He also works in book and magazine design, and the design of currency notes and coins. His prints are in numerous museums in Europe.
