Vladimir Bugajev / Владимир Григорьевич Бугаев (1948) - honored artist of Russia.
A member of the creative Union of artists of Russia since 1996. Lives and works in the city of Khanty-Mansiysk since 1998.
In 1966 he graduated from art school in the city of Isilkul of the Omsk region, teachers Grebennikov Viktor Karpenko Tamara.
In 1971 he graduated from the Omsk state pedagogical Institute named after A. M. Gorky, art-graphic faculty. Teachers Belov, S. K., Liberia A. N. Supervisor of the thesis of the people’s artist of the USSR Liberov Alexey.
Teaching activities:
1. Omsk pedagogical Institute art-graphic faculty, teacher of drawing, painting, 70-ies.
2. Omsk branch VZITLP, teacher of drawing, painting, 70-ies.
3. Omsk technological Institute, teacher of painting, 80 years.
4. «Center of arts for gifted children of the North» the city of Khanty-Mansiysk, lecturer, art Department, from 1998 to the present.
In 1970−1980 was the leader of the Omsk underground and one of the organizers of the Experimental art Association «the Echo» of the city of Omsk, 1987 — 1989.
1988−1990 lived and worked in the city of Abakan, from 1991−1996 in the city of St. Petersburg on Pushkinskaya street house number 10.

The St. Petersburg creative Union.
In 1996 he moved to the town of Surgut, in 1998 in the town of Khanty — Mansiysk.
In 2007 he became one of the organizers of the Khanty-Mansiysk Creative Union of artists.
In 2009 awarded the title of Honored artist of the Russian Federation. In 2012 he was awarded the gold medal of the creative Union of Russian artists for the contribution to domestic culture.

1969 — 1972 — series graphics landscape compositions.
1973 — 1982 — abstract easel painting.
1982 — 1995, improvisation, graphics — painting (procedural art).
1995 — 2003 — conceptual projects of the archaic orientation.
2003 — 2012 — conceptual designs of the latest trends in contemporary art (Video art, digital graphics, performance).
